Way too easy. This game could be as good as banished if it were just difficult, its kindof a slog with no real challenge. Relaxing though.. Hi All,I have few hours playing the game, but I can say that Dawn of Man is an amazing game with a lot of room for improvement. That's been said, I want to point out some terrible bugs which need urgent update:1. The dead. After someone has been killed, the game doesn't have any mechanics to make the people pick him\/her up and perform some kind of ancient funerary rites. The poor deads just lay there, like nothing! The humankind in Dawn of Man's prehistoric period doesn't lack of reverence to their deads. The devs should adress that issue asap.2. Dangerous animals. For my surprise, dangerous animals like cave lions, wolfs, bears and others simply walk around (and sometimes walk through) the paleolithic "village" like they lived in some kind of paradise. I think that is a serious bug! Humankind try to be very far from such beasts. I saw a little girl, alone, simply walk side by side of a cave lion to pick some water! C'mon!3. Lack of Hunting Coordination. We are unable to control any hunting strategy. We can only command a man or woman to hunt a specific animal, and that's it. The rest is up to the game's AI. The game need to include hunting strategies.4. Socialization. The clan's people are incapable to socialize with each other. There's is no conversations, and at night (ok, another point: there's no day\/night cycle) any kind of interation, such as storytelling or rituals, happens. People walk around as nobody cares for anyone.Despite those bugs, the game is really fun to play. The design is very good, and I think it worth the price.Sorry if I sound too demanding, but I think Dawn of Man has a lot of amazing possibilities. And those improvements will give the game a fantastic boost in sales and fun.As always, sorry my bad english.. It's okay but not great. Gets pretty boring after a bit. There's little challenge even at the very beginning, There's no attachment to the pawns - they're completely interchangeable. If one dies, you'll just get another soon. The controls and interface are clunky.. Well i like the game but it feels unfinished and some what lacking in some areas. Like your animals will goble up all your straw, the straw you need for repairs and building towers despite that your animals do eat grain as well. The game just dont give you the player the options needed to properly take control. Some times wild animals will wander into your village, early on this is fine but as your village grows it become strange in the end to see wild animals walk into your town to attack the player. Raids help switch up the gameplay a bit, setting up a defense seems to work pretty good, but towers go down pretty fast to small numbers of raiders making it cheaper to keep gates open and just charge your attackers.I really liked growing my village, farming crops, managing animals and placing down walls, gates and towers. I have yet to reach the final age and the developer might fix the straw issue so i will keep playing this for a while even tho there is limited content here.. While an enjoyable sim, it is not particularly interesting in the long term. Combat is mob. Defenses are knocked down with a couple of spears. Workload management is poorly implemented. It is good for 16 hours or so play, so if you want to kill a few days, and want to kick back doing other things while it runs, then it is fine. Just get it on sale.. So far I am finding this one of the most adictive and interesting games to date that I have purchased. I have only been playing it in normal speed taking my time trying to achive the number of animal kills and builds the game sets forth for extra points for the tech tree before moving on to later periods of tech and time and not to move onto other types of animals either. Playing in normal mode so far. Hungry Lion prides, protective mother bears and wolves oh my! Seeing the changes in animal migrations people and animal behavier learning to take advantage of animal kills for resorces and more. I strongly sugest using the Primal vision often and watch to see if wolf packs or Lion Prides are keeping other animals away from your people which can make it hard to get skins, meat and bones for use. Sometimes they help drive them to your people other times they can keep them away from you. Mamoth's and other heavy Herbavor's defend their young fiercly and often leave dead preditor's for you to scavange Primal Vision will help you see and find all of these situations. The visuals and dynamics of the game are great and getting better with each update the Developers are putting out. With only playing in 1x speed never speeding up and enjoying the game the way it is meant to be it will take a long time to reach the later dates in time and I will fully get to enjoy all it has to offer and understand all the time period changes. Only things I see missing is the stone age start living in caves and using leanto's and bone weapons and rocks the bronze age in the tech tree needs leather armor as well and then to steel armor in later times with shields too. One last sugeston please remember to sound the warning horn when a raiding party is close to your village your domesticated dog's and all armed villagers will attack them together while all unarmed people head to the huts for cover and stay safe. Those domesticated dog's will be your best fighters against all attackers animal and human alike. While some things are missing there is no doubt it covers a lot and is very enjoyable to me at least and I have played a lot of games over the years of this type and can not find a lot of fault with it. You will find more fault with my spelling I am sure after my strokes! LOL. Great game for anyone who likes building strategy games, has a lot of potential for the future, modding etc.. Really cool game, definately room for improvements. The early to mid game feels pretty satisfying but late game seems like a lot of what you do is not very consequential. In regards to the later metals and the later end of the knowledge tree, just a bit lacking there. Great game tho,i really like and i hope they improve and add lots to it.
